The concept of Mommyfluent began with Shay, her baby girl Aja and playtime.

 Shay Claiborne is a New Orleans native who has worked in the social service field for the past seven years. With an undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Claiborne has experience with ABA therapy, mental health counseling, child and family studies and case management. Her business, Mommyfluent Toy Store, merges her passion for family engagement and the importance of playtime with an underlying commitment to empowering and healing families.

Mommyfluent is a brand for all things infants and toddlers. Mommyfluent was created to give moms and families the opportunity to engage and play with their infants and toddlers. 

 When you look at our logo, you see a plant and watering can encompassing a heart. To us, "planting" symbolizes adoration, commitment, and longevity- all qualities of a great mommy.
